Playing Tips
Tip 1
Low Handicaps: Getting a good drive down the left side of the fairway will set you up for a chance at hitting the green in two. If your drive is on the fairway, you can back your game and hit it over the water leaving a short uphill chip to the green. If your drive isn’t in play, then opt for an iron to lay up short of the water and have a full wedge in. This is a tricky green that slopes from back to front, don’t leave the ball above the hole, otherwise you will have a fast downhill putt.
Tip 2
High(er) Handicaps: Aim your drive towards the large bush on the left side of the fairway. Don’t get greedy on the second shot by taking on the water, hit an iron or hybrid towards the left water hazard leaving you about 110m to the green. Take an extra club for the uphill approach and aim at the left side of the green, so the slopes take the ball on to the green. Take care putting, at worst leave your putt just short, rather than four foot past.
