Playing Tips
Tip 1
Low Handicaps: It’s all about the drive here. Take on the trees along the right side of the rough. In the distance you will see the top of an old dead gum, aim to the right of it and make sure it’s a solid shot. Bigger hitters can go further right, but won’t get much more distance because the fairway feeds the ball left. If you are within range of hitting the green in two, play your second towards the gum on the right well away from the water, and the mounds will feed the ball to the front edge or on the green.
Tip 2
High(er) Handicaps: Drive up the left side of the fairway away from the right corner. This will keep the ball on the fairway giving you a good lie to hit three wood inside the 150 posts. Hit your approach right edge of the green keeping away from the left water hazard. All balls feed off the right mounds and onto the green. Don’t get greedy, this hole can destroy your front nine if you take on the water.
